Skånevik sweater is originally knitted in Ultraligh merino. Vams Pt3 is a 2-thread knitting yarn of 100% Norwegian wool, knitted together with 1 thread of brushed alpaca silk.

This version is knitted on needles 8 mm and is slightly larger in size. It therefore goes up to 3XL

There is enough yarn in the pattern to make the sweater somewhat longer, but you can also add balls if you want it longer. It is then recommended:

Size S/M: 1 ball of Vams

Size L/XL and 2XL: 1 ball of Vams and 1 ball of brushed alpaca silk

Size 3XL: 1 ball of Vams

Length 55 (57) 59 (61) cm

Needles: Circular needle 6 mm and 8 mm, 40 and 80 cm

Gauge:   On needles 8 mm: 11 stitches = 10 cm

Sleeve: 44 (44) 45 (45) cm from under sleeve

The yarn is full and airy and makes for light and warm garments. It is also very lightly knitted

Vams Pt3 is produced at the Rauma Ullvarefabrikk in Romsdalen. There they wash, card, twist, spin, dye and skein the yarn. They only use Norwegian wool. Norwegian wool is one of the world's most environmentally friendly textile fibers.

Knitting tension: 14-16 m = 10 cm
50 g = approx. 83 m
